• 1 cup Bob's Red Mill 10 Grain Cereal
  • 1 1/4 cups milk + 1 1/4 teaspoons white wine vinegar (or buttermilk without vinegar)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar or agave nectar
  • 1/3 cup softened salted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

My family has enjoyed these 10 Grain Muffins for a LONG time! In fact, I started making these way back in the day when our family homeschooled in upstate New York. My best friend, Donna, and our families enjoyed these muffins together many a Saturday mornin’! Donna recently became a first-time grandma. Her daughter Allie was on her way to the hospital when Donna asked,”What can do for you, honey?” “Can I bring you something good to eat?” Her daughter’s reply? “Oh, yes Mom, the ten grain muffins!” THAT’S how good these muffins are!

Mix milk and vinegar; add 10 Grain Cereal. Allow to stand for 10 minutes while your oven is preheating. Cream together butter, sugar and the add your large egg.  Add dry ingredients and milk mixture. Stir only until mixed.Pour into 12 greased muffin tins and bake for 15 minutes. Enjoy!

Alex and I are headed out back to enjoy our muffins!

Matthew 6:26

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

Have a glorious day!  I love you all.
