New Culinary Class offered by Elise Johnson

Elise is a wife and mom who has enjoyed homeschooling her children for the last seventeen years. She is also the owner of “Cooking with Elise” which can be seen weekly (Wednesdays) on NBC 17’s My Carolina Today show.

Her newest culinary class, “Cooking through Literature”, is a book and food lover’s delight! Great for all ages, this class will help you enjoy some of your favorite books in a whole new way!

Participants will learn to cook recipes taken from various sources in literature. This family-friendly class features everything from cookies (“If You Give a Mouse a Cookie…”) to Blancmange (“Little Women”) to Turkish Delight (“The Chronicles of Narnia”) to Lembas (“The Lord of the Rings”)!
