- 8 ounces cream cheese
- ¼ cup agave syrup or to taste, good maple syrup or raw honey
- 2-3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon pure almond or vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Various berries or other fruits likes grapes, apples, and bananas
While visiting our dearest friends, the Kagy family, and their lovely home high up in the beautiful mountains of Hendersonville, North Carolina, we ate the most delicious fruit dip! I watched as joy lovingly prepared it for us. I never ate so much fruit in my life at one time. We love eating this dip with fruit for dessert especially after enjoying a spicy meal like my Chicken Tikka Masala.
I think using agave nectar is best, but you can also use maple syrup or honey. I also added a bit of cinnamon which I think is a just terrific in this recipe!
Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Add a little milk at a time until you reach a smooth consistency. Enjoy a drizzle over your fruit. You’re in for a treat!
Serve with your choice of fresh fruit. Don’t be like me and eat more dip than fruit!
