- Broccoli crowns
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper

- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Super, super easy, roasted broccoli is the perfect side dish to just any any main meal! Roasting vegetables brings out the vegetables sweetness, and adds crunch.
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Place your broccoli on a baking sheet. I like using my broiler because it’s dark color lends to the crispness you get from roasting. Drizzle broccoli with just a bit of olive oil. Sprinkle with kosher or sea salt and grind black pepper over top. Toss to coat. Bake in the oven for 10 to 15 mints. Do not overcook. You are basically browning the sides of your vegetables.
Remove and garnish with fresh lemon zest and freshly grated Parmesan cheese!
When roasting vegetables, separate each type. Do not toss them together. Vegetables take different times to cook. For example asparagus only takes a couple of minutes while carrots take much longer.
